Can Assisted Living accommodate those with Dementia and Alzheimers?

March 2, 2014 by Dawn Dumont

This answer varies dependent on the community. Many assisted living communities are able to accommodate a person with Dementia or Alzheimers’ until a certain stage of the disease. There are many aspects to consider when choosing between and Assisted Living Community or a Specialized Dementia Community. Families should tour both types of communities before deciding which type is a better fit for their loved one.

Client Expressions

“Thank you for sending me all the information prior to arriving and having the tours scheduled. It’s a relief to return home knowing I found a place for my parents. With your insight, I’m sure they will like it. I still have to sell the house and make so many other arrangements. Thank You so much for all the people you have put me in touch with. It is a good feeling to know I can call you if I need anything throughout this process. God Bless.”
